Until they give an opt out option for the share buttons, why? because while it doesn't bother me, it bothers other people, it's a blatant show of disrespect against DA members and it can really damage members' businesses. At first I didn't understand what the big deal was but I gave it a moment to sink in and I really understood what is really going on.
As a professional I know the repercussions of posting your work on the internet, and after much thought I really understand how some people wouldn't want their work posted in other social networks. While I do believe DA's position on sharing is a honest one, I don't think it's on their right to tell other people what they should do or not do with their stuff.
I don't know if people have been fired or not because of DA practices
[link] but if it happened like this member says it happened, what a damn shame, and it could happen to anyone, I can easily see myself being punished for having my work posted on a site like facebook, personally, I wouldn't give a rat's ass if this happens as long as it's redirecting to my DA account, but, not surprisingly, big brother aka 'the company you work for' could be really pissed.
So yeah, DA will lose one premium membership, it won't affect their business, but as long as they keep screwing up others, here's what I think of the guys running this place:

You got me at PORTFOLIO, but now you lost me.
